Tiki Hut / A Taste of Paradise

Since opening in the summer, Tiki Hut Brighton has gone from strength to strength. The venue is now synonymous with delicious authentic Caribbean food, 2-4-1 cocktails (on selected days) and dancing! 

The stunning outside tiki themed space is ideal for watching the world go by and is only a stone’s throw away from Brighton seafront. If you haven’t visited yet, you’re in for a real treat. Open daily from midday until 1am, Discover highly recommends this independent, family run venue.  

What’s On? 

Monday – Hospitality and NHS staff can enjoy £10 Caribbean meals, 2-4-1 on all cocktails, (the Zombie is another level) 2-4-1 on all shots and £5 on all draft beers. From 5pm until 1am, this is the perfect place to let your hair down on a night off. 

Tuesday – Tiki Hut welcomes all students with their very own night. £10 Caribbean meals are offered with mind blowing drinks deals. 2-4-1 cocktails, 2-4-1 on all shots and £5 for all draft pints! 

Wednesday – Open Decks presented by DJ Orphic from 8pm until 1am. This is a non-judgemental space for fledgling DJs and emerging talent to practice their sets in a busy pub setting. You will have a 30-minute slot to play any genre of music you like! Walk-in slots are available, but if you’d like to book in advance email: orphicsopendecks@gmail.com. 2-4-1 cocktails are available all night long, if you’re not a DJ come and show your support and hear some amazing music. 

Thursday – It’s Open Mic every Thursday from 8pm – 1am, hosted by Millie who is a professional singer and also a university student. Singers, musicians, comedians and performers of any kind are welcome to take the stage and have a moment in the spotlight. Friday and Saturday – Each weekend a variety of professional DJs take to the decks to spin some of the best tunes around. With everything from house and techno, to reggae and northern soul, you are sure to find something to shake your thing to!  Friday 2-4-1 cocktails from midday until 6pm. Come and start your weekend the right way. 

Sunday – Reggae roasts are here every Sunday. People have been clamouring to try a twist on the traditional with 2-4-1 cocktails from midday until close. You can choose from jerk chicken, pork or beef with all the trimmings in these delicious Caribbean inspired roast dinners. Reggae DJs playing all day until late. The tropical vibes are free flowing and you’re guaranteed to leave feeling ready for Monday! 

Private Booking – The venue is available for private hire for any occasion. There are buffet options available and the venue has an experienced event manager who can cater for all your entertainment requirements. 85 person capacity, the whole venue or smaller areas available. @tiki_hut_brighton.
