Central Park returns | Brighton 11 Jun–19 Jul
Central Park has outdone itself for 2026, alongside all the FIFA World Cup games, expect Shy FX, Return to Nashville, The Bootleg Beatles, Rum & Reggae Fest, Rob Lamberti as George Michael, All Day Indie Party and R&B Lovers…
Set against the sweeping seafront at Black Rock, Central Park on Brighton Beach is shaping up to be one of the South Coast’s standout destinations this summer. Running from 11 Jun–19 July to coincide with the FIFA World Cup, the large-scale pop-up transforms the beach into what is being described as one of Europe’s biggest open-air fan parks.
With capacity for around 5,000 people, it offers a high-energy alternative to pub screenings, combining football, festival culture and seaside atmosphere in one place. 4TheFans, the team behind the event, will screen all of England’s group matches and the World Cup Final on giant 50-metre screens, complete with immersive sound systems and pyrotechnic effects for key moments.

The experience is designed to feel more like a live event than a simple screening, with football legends appearing at games for analysis and crowd interaction, helping to recreate the buzz of being inside a stadium.
Beyond the football, Central Park delivers a full programme of entertainment that turns match days into all-day experiences. Expect DJs, live hosts, fan competitions and street-food traders creating a festival-style environment before and after kick-off, reflecting the wider World Cup fan zone culture seen globally.

On non-match days, the site shifts into a live music venue, with a packed schedule including electronic showcases curated by Shy FX, indie and R&B day parties, and large-scale themed events like the Nashville-inspired country music takeover, complete with line dancing, rodeo bulls and BBQ food. There’s also something for families, from daytime performances to accessible shows like The Bootleg Beatles, ensuring broad appeal across age groups.
With bars, food vendors and a beachside backdrop just minutes from Brighton Palace Pier, the venue blends sport, music and social energy into one cohesive summer hub. Expect a six-week celebration of sport and culture that captures the energy of Brighton.
