Sunday Speed Dating (30-40) | Come and join us take over the intimate, candlelit Speakeasy, upstairs at The Wick Inn.

You’re in for a night of fast-paced flirting and genuine conversation, perfect way to end the week before that Monday morning return to work.

What to Expect:

A Helpful Welcome: Our host will greet you and sign you in, explain how the event will work, offer advice and answer any questions if you’ve never done anything similar before.

Pre Dating: While we’re waiting for everyone to arrive we have a short chance for everyone to chat in a group and grab drinks from the bar. *Pro Tip* First impressions do count and subconsciously people will notice how you interact with others as well as what you say on the dates. Don’t be afraid to chat in the groups and please talk to the opposite gender, it’s not a school disco.

Dating Rounds: You’ll have around 5 minutes with each person, time to find out what passions and hobbies you each have and maybe share. *Pro Tip* – leave the boring work talk till later dates unless you’re really passionate about what you do and it’s super impressive, maybe you designed and built the Royal pavilion, although if you did then you might be a little outside the age range.

Mid Date Break: Half way through the night we’ll have a short comfort break, head to the bar, loos, smoking area. *Pro Tip* carry on the conversations from before or from your dates in this break, it’s extra time to make those important connections.

Post Dating Mixer: After the break we’ll continue with the dates, once you have met everyone of the opposite gender the night will officially end and you can submit your likes, however don’t run away stay and have some more drinks and socialise.

Selection Phase: At the end of the night the host will take your Dating card from you with your choices so that mutual connections can be calculated and sent out to you the next day.

Remember your host is there to support you, if anyone is a bit much then just let the host know or if you want advice on how to make the right impression just ask.

Cancellations and Refunds Policy: If the pre book tickets don’t reach our threshold for ratio and attendance the event will be cancelled and all tickets refunded including booking fees. In the situation that an event takes place with acceptable bookings placed yet a large proportion of attendees do not arrive then only attendees that have checked in with the host upon arrival will be compensated.
