Southwick Beer Festival | Friday 22nd May 2026 – Saturday 23rd May 2026 Once again, there will be a great selection of over 30 cask and keg beers, as well as a dedicated Cider Bar. And our regular Centre Bar will also be open for wines, spirits and soft drinks. Beer price just £5 a pint the same as the last 2 years!! There will be loads of tasty food options including our famous curries and BBQ. The annual festival helps to raise funds for Southwick Community Centre. But mainly it’s about welcoming people to an event that is very sociable and enormous fun. There are three separate sessions over the Friday and Saturday. Amazing music from Cool Britannia Lee Pryor Shoreham Allstars and Echo Chamber So come and enjoy a session or two – or all three ! If you want to come to both of the Saturday sessions, you can buy an ‘all-day’ (two sessions) Saturday ticket. Taking place across the first four weekends of May (May 2–4, May 9–10, May 16–17 and May 23–25), Brighton Open Houses once again promises a spectacular, citywide celebration of creativity, bringing together artists, makers and visitors with a unique and interactive cultural experience. Artists Open Houses takes place across Brighton & Hove, extending to Rottingdean and Ditchling and offers visitors and residents a fresh way to explore Brighton and Hove beyond the usual routes. Flying Circus Art Fair is Brighton’s first affordable art fair. It’s being organised by two Brighton artists, both themselves veterans of multiple exhibitions, BeauBottletops (Jessie Marie / Beau-Events) and Bobby Dazzler. You’re going to be spoilt for choice as we showcase incredible art from over 150 artists as we aim to make this a standout on the arts calendar and must-see venue this Artists Open Houses (AOH) season. Solo debut from Biscuit Barrel founder James Horscroft, David Nobbs Comedy Award finalist and Brighton Fringe Spirit of the Fringe Award 2025 nominee. As seen at Edinburgh Fringe, Hollywood Fringe, and Leicester Comedy Festival, with this show marking his sixth year at Brighton Fringe. Featuring the most unhinged drama games you've ever witnessed or, if you're brave enough, participated in. All led by an intensely disciplined performing arts teacher, desperate to make a rundown community college feel like a top-end drama school. Based on a character who's made numerous appearances in "Biscuit Barrel: The 69-Sketch Show", the Dodger is now rolling out of the Barrel and into the classroom.
