Get Better

Ironworks Studios 30 Cheapside, Brighton

Get Better | The play follows Hazel, a woman in her 20’s working in a café, grappling with chronic fatigue and trying to maintain her dreams of opening a café of her own with her best friend. The world experiences a shift, and people who identify as female, inexplicably lose the ability to lie. In the wake of this change, Hazel decides to channel this newfound ability into pursuing a diagnosis for the chronic illness she is experiencing but doesn’t yet understand. If she’s telling the truth, she has to be believed, right? If you’re curious to learn more about the play, head over to our Instagram, @getbetterplay. Everyone is welcome. This performance is offered on a Pay What You Can basis, meaning there is no fixed ticket price. When booking, you choose the amount you'd like to contribute. We hope those who are able to give a little more will help support those who cannot, ensuring the performance remains accessible to as many people as possible.
