Brighton Theatre Group presents Chitty Chitty Bang Bang One of the world’s favourite family musicals, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang will have audiences of all ages flying high with its mixture of madness, intrigue and comedy as it flies back to Brighton. Can Potts, Truly, Jeremy & Jemima outwit the dastardly Baron Bomburst who has decreed that all children be banished from his kingdom? Will the Child Catcher catch them and will good prevail over evil? This fun filled magical musical promises laughter, exuberant choreography and a live orchestra with favourite songs including Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Hushabye Mountain, Toot Sweet, Posh, Me Ol’ Bamboo, Truly Scrumptious and of course the flying Chitty herself!

The Fairy & Dragon Trail at High Beeches Garden

High Beeches Woodland and Water Garden Handcross Lane, Handcross

The Fairy & Dragon Trail at High Beeches Garden This summer, High Beeches Garden welcomes the return of the magical Willow Fairy and Dragon Trail. Come and visit this delightful 25-acre woodland and water garden and discover beautifully crafted willow sculptures hidden across the glades. A circular walk of around an hour allows you to soak up the tranquillity of the garden while you hunt for the fairies and their friends. The trail is suitable for all ages but particularly enjoyable for younger children. Little ones are encouraged to dress up to join in the fun and you can keep them entertained with a trail pack, available from the kiosk. On selected dates this year, we will be welcoming our special friend, Evie, the Shetland Unicorn for some guest appearances. Don't forget to follow us on social media to learn more. The Kiosk will be open throughout for hot and cold drinks, cakes, and ice creams. Picnics are welcome in the adjacent picnic area. Brighton Kollab: Music, words, community and a bit of magic, featuring Marina Decourt, Azaria Franco and open mic AGE LIMIT: 14+ Anyone under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Kollab - the famous night of music, words and general gorgeousness on a houseboat in Shoreham is returning to its second home: the colourful Ironworks. Hosted by Katrina Pike and featuring a beautiful lineup of alt folk from Azaria Franco and Brazilian vibes from Marina Decourt. Kollab is about creating attentive and welcoming spaces for courageous sharing, building connections and appreciating the incredible local talent we have. We'll be in the foyer in cabaret style where you can soak up the vibe and catch up with your pals or meet new friends with a drink from the bar.
