Created by Cuban ballet star Carlos Acosta, this version of Carmen is set to Rodion Shchedrin's orchestration of Bizet's opera score, injected with Cuban music and danced by Acosta's impressive Havana-based company. A flamenco-Cuban-ballet contemporary mashup bursting with energy and inventive choreography. Carlos' take on the classic and powerful opera, lays bare the story's universal and timeless themes, in a sparse and powerful setting.

'Lemonade' is a mix of tight funkified guitars, shimmering keys, and organic percussion leading to a captivating chorus. Louis says: "The most important thing was for the first single to sound ambitious sonically. It had to be big and fun. To me, ‘Lemonade’ really has instant and natural personality. It ended up being the perfect way to begin this chapter.” The track debuted on BBC Radio 1 as their 'Hottest Record.' The Quimpire Strikes Round Back | A wonderful cabaret celebration of Star Wars and other sci-fi shenanigans for Star Wars Day weekend. Top tier local LGBTQIA+ talent from the worlds of drag and burlesque and beyond have been enlisted by our Gay-lactic Quimpress, Harley Quim, to delight, excite and thrill you to your core like a missile in your small thermal exhaust port. Daltons venue is located near Brighton Palace Pier underneath Brighton Zip Line. It is wheelchair accessible. Come join the Quimpire; We have Jedi knights, Sith Lords, cocktails and everything in between and beyond to help you celebrate Star Wars Day and more! Doors open at 7:30, show starts at 8. The Lineup: This show is arranged and produced by Harley Quim, our glorious Quimpress and Overseer. Jack Kristiansen will be Grand Vizier and Host.
