Message from Dick Valentine : Electric Six. The band that put out an album a year for what seemed like 666 years. The most reliable act in show business, there was simply no question that each year would bring another E6 record on Metropolis Records. Mayans based their calendar on Electric Six. Flocks of migrating birds used the new Electric Six record as a homing device. Small time criminals were sentenced to four to seven E6 albums with time off for wonderful behaviour. In a business so fickle, so unreliable, so difficult to navigate...the only constant was Electric Six. There was always an album a year... ....until there wasn’t. As we all know...talk is cheap. Concorde 2 Madeira Drive, Brighton, East Susex, United Kingdom

Family Ents presents the return of Bad Manners to Brighton for their annual Christmas outing! In 1979, Bad Manners formed as a nine-piece ska band whilst at school in Manor House North London and were at the forefront of the 80s Ska Revival movement.. They had 12 singles on the UK Chart including Ne-Ne Na-Na Na-Na Nu-Nu, Lip Up Fatty, Special Brew, My Girl Lollipop and Can Can. and were 111 weeks in the UK Singles Chart. By the mid-80s, the ska craze had waned and the band retired temporarily, only to return in 1989 with Return Of The Ugly, they’ve been touring and delighting audiences ever since. Splodgenessabounds is a British punk rock band, associated with the Oi! and Punk Pathetique genres. Their frontman is Max Splodge. The band is best known for their 1980 track, "Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps", coining a phrase that lent its name to a BBC sitcom. Peculiarly, the song was the B side of a single. The less-popular A side was "Simon Templar", a souped-up version of the theme tune of the ITV TV series, The Saint.

These logs were traces of tens of thousands of queer lives, a bridge to a past hidden from people like Walker and Zmith in their youth, captured by people who lent an ear to those in need. They came of age in the time of […]

Ironworks Studios 30 Cheapside, Brighton, East Sussex, United Kingdom

Jordan Gray: : Is That A C*ck In Your Pocket Or Are You Just Here To Kill Me? Join Jordan as she explores all this and more in her rootinest, tootinest, shootinest hour of musical comedy yet. Following acclaimed runs in London and Edinburgh, the multi-award-winning star and creator of ITV’s Transaction hits the road with a guitar on her back, a bounty on her ballbag, and some very poorly written death threats in her DMs. When Jordan stripped off live on Channel 4 (and won a BAFTA in the process), bigots around the globe went ballistic. Luckily… so were her tits. Is the cost of success worth it? How do you live up to your own sky-high expectations? And most importantly, should you even be a comedian when your bum looks this good? Join Jordan as she explores all this and more in her rootinest, tootinest, shootinest hour of musical comedy yet.
