  • Von Hertzen Brothers (Acoustic Enough)

Komedia 44-47 Gardner Street, Brighton, East Sussex, United Kingdom

Von Hertzen Brothers (Acoustic Enough) | Finnish progressive rock visionaries Von Hertzen Brothers, return to the UK in October 2026 for a very special run of intimate seated theatre shows. Celebrating 25 years as a band, the Finnish band will present a unique live experience unlike anything they have previously brought to UK audiences. The band wryly describe these performances as acoustic “enough” - while the songs may be reimagined away from their usual electric rock set-up, these shows are anything but stripped back. Far from a simple “unplugged” set, these shows interpret the band’s music in a way that is intimate, expansive and more immersive than ever before. The three brothers, Mikko, Kie and Jonne Von Herzen are joined on stage by their bandmate, multi-instrumentalist Markus Pajakkala whose impressive array of instruments goes far beyond a traditional acoustic set-up. The brothers themselves also show off their insane musical skills, each playing multiple instruments and taking turns on drums, keyboards, guitars, vocals, percussion and whatever else is on hand. Presented in seated theatre and cabaret style venues, these evenings are designed to bring audiences closer to the songs and stories at the heart of the music. Spanning the band’s rich […]

Folklore Sessions Presents; Noah Guthrie + Support November 7th | The Folklore Rooms £18adv | 18+ Americana singer-songwriter Noah Guthrie's sound has been described as possessing Chris Stapleton's country/rock grit with the authenticity of Jason Isbell. The unique soulfulness in his richly textured voice and the unmistakable Southern influence in his music makes him capable of conveying emotion as only a handful of artists can in today's musical landscape. Noah's latest album, Oddly Flexible, is a bittersweet reflection on growing up and the disorienting changes that come with it. The album explores the contrast between the freedom and wonder of childhood imagination with the harsh realities of adulthood. Noah speaks on things he's learned and, often more importantly, things he has unlearned. Despite the overwhelming weight of changing times, here's an undercurrent of hope that each new day brings a chance to find perspective and healing. Noah has built a strong following through powerful live performances, social media and television. He has released three critically-acclaimed albums. He has also performed on NBC's Today Show and Tonight Show, Hallmark Channel's Home & Family, and ABC's Dancing with the Stars. The producers at the hit FOX TV show, GLEE, discovered his YouTube […]
