Folklore Sessions Presents; Andrea Von Kampen + Support 14th August | The Folklore Rooms £14adv | 18+ Andrea von Kampen is a Nebraska-based singer-songwriter whose music blends intimate storytelling, poetic lyricism, and warm acoustic arrangements. Rooted in the landscapes of the Great Plains, her songs explore connection-to the natural world, to one another, and to the quiet moments that shape us. With over 60 million Spotify streams, releases on Fantasy Records, and appearances at some of the most respected folk and Americana festivals, von Kampen has built a devoted global following. Her national breakthrough came early, earning a Top 10 NPR Tiny Desk shout-out in 2016, which introduced her thoughtful songwriting to a wider audience. Their success at home also saw some of the most culturally impactful brands approach the band for collaborations, working with the likes of Gucci, Dior, Vans and Dr. Martens to name a few. Folklore Sessions Presents; Axel Flovent + Support 15th October | The Folklore Rooms £15adv | 18+ Axel Flóvent is an Icelandic indie-folk artist whose soft, introspective songs blend Nordic melancholy with a warm, hopeful atmosphere. Growing up in a musical family in Húsavík, he began releasing raw, early demos that led to his breakout single, "Forest Fires," which is now streamed over 90 million times. His music draws from influences such as Bon Iver and Adrianne Lenker, blending gentle folk, ambient textures, and emotional honesty. After years of living in Reykjavík, Axel has returned to his hometown, where he continues to craft reflective, heartfelt songs - including new releases like singles "Nowhere" (December 19th 2025), "In The Grass" (January 30th 2026) and his upcoming EP, Fleeing the Shore set for April 24th 2026. Von Hertzen Brothers (Acoustic Enough) | Finnish progressive rock visionaries Von Hertzen Brothers, return to the UK in October 2026 for a very special run of intimate seated theatre shows. Celebrating 25 years as a band, the Finnish band will present a unique live experience unlike anything they have previously brought to UK audiences. The band wryly describe these performances as acoustic “enough” - while the songs may be reimagined away from their usual electric rock set-up, these shows are anything but stripped back. Far from a simple “unplugged” set, these shows interpret the band’s music in a way that is intimate, expansive and more immersive than ever before. The three brothers, Mikko, Kie and Jonne Von Herzen are joined on stage by their bandmate, multi-instrumentalist Markus Pajakkala whose impressive array of instruments goes far beyond a traditional acoustic set-up. The brothers themselves also show off their insane musical skills, each playing multiple instruments and taking turns on drums, keyboards, guitars, vocals, percussion and whatever else is on hand.
