Cooler Than You – Stu Brewer

27 May, 2023

We meet Stu Brewer a music lecturer, guitarist and producer from Brighton.

What do you like doing in your spare time?

Apart from raising three mini Vikings, I like to explore the countryside and get inspired by people around me. I find the best creative inspiration to be the sights and sounds of your surroundings and it helps me be more creative

Tell us something only your close friends know?

I spend way too long on my beard grooming routine, am obsessed by the aesthetic of skulls and I have an unhealthy amount of clothes, inducing a plethora of Dr Marten boots.

Where do you like to shop?

I love exploring Black Pearl and Juju in the Lanes, mixing hippy vibes and retro chic. Also a big fan of Cyberdog, shame the Brighton store closed.

What is your passion?

It has to be music, whether that be creating it myself or sharing my knowledge and inspiring the next generation of musicians. Nothing makes me more happy than seeing that spark of creativity in the musicians I help.
