Introducing Chef Tom Lodge

1 Oct, 2024

We are delighted to introduce our brand-new monthly food columnist, chef Tom Lodge, who will be whipping up delicious recipe inspirations for our readers.

Tom Lodge has considerable kudos in the restaurant industry working in renowned Michelin starred restaurants and being involved in the setup of several successful and exciting restaurants. He’s remarkably achieved all this by just 20 years old and is now bringing his skills to Sussex with an exciting collaboration with Shoreham business The Sussex Food Market. You will be able to purchase excellent local produce, as well as the opportunity to shop well and, excitingly, learn new ways to cook with Tom in the development kitchen.  Another addition is a new food truck at the site – BOX is reinventing street food featuring reimagined dishes.  If that’s not enough Tom has also taken over the management and menu development at the Bridge Inn, Shoreham bringing an exciting menu backing British produce and farmers. He will also be bringing the BOX street food experience with Grill at The Bridge – Box Street Food every Friday and Saturday Night. Tom is certainly making waves in the industry so keep your eyes on his progress, his monthly column and recipes in Discover so you can sample his food at home as well.
