Folklore Sessions Presents; Willy Tea Taylor + Kenan Flannery June 18th | The Folklore Rooms £15adv | 18+ Willy Tea Taylor is a father, brother, and son. His remarkable ability to write subjects in a simple yet profound way makes his songs a great place to lose yourself. Much of that comes from his upbringing surrounded by rolling hills and horses in a small town in California known as the "Cowboy Capital of the World". Willy calls John Hartford, Roscoe Holcomb, Bob Dylan, KISS, Weird Al Yankovic and Willie Nelson his biggest influences, but is always quick to advocate for his favorite contemporary songwriters which include Tom VandenAvond, Nathan Moore, and his Good Luck partner in crime, Chris Doud. "The Essence of Folk Music in its rawest and most Authentic form" Kenan Flannery is a 26-year-old award-winning folk songwriter from Dublin, praised for his "bone-breakingly beautiful" music and a voice with the intensity of "a hundred Irish poets." Fleetwood Mac - A Celebration | Step into the enchanting world of one of rock's most iconic bands as we present a night filled with music, trivia, and dancing. Join us for a night celebrating one of rock’s most iconic bands. Live performances will bring Fleetwood Mac’s greatest songs to life — from Landslide to Go Your Own Way — followed by a Fleetwood Mac quiz for those who know their stuff (and a prize up for grabs). After that, we’ll head to the bar for a Fleetwood Mac disco, with all the classics to keep you dancing. A night of great music, a bit of nostalgia, and a good excuse to sing along.

Msb Mario El Niño de la Pili at The Folklore Rooms, Brighton (LIVE) Before the England game, start the night differently. Old Man Luedecke | Folklore Sessions Presents; Old Man Luedecke + Pierce Joyce 1st July 2026 | The Folklore Rooms £17adv | 18+ Old Man Luedecke is the recording name of two time JUNO award winning and Polaris prize nominated singer songwriter Chris Luedecke. A multiple East Coast Music Award winner known for his high energy banjo driven stompers, touching guitar ballads and dry humorous stories, Luedecke has been making a soundtrack to an authentic life for nearly twenty years. Born in Toronto and long time resident of the country near Chester Nova Scotia, Luedecke began recording in the early 2000's DIY folk scene of Halifax. He made his two JUNO winning albums for Black Hen Music in the late 00s with Steve Dawson as producer at Vancouver's famed Factory studio. While on a tour of England in 2009, he met and supported folk roots legend Tim O'Brien who produced Luedecke's next two albums. Folklore Sessions Presents; Andrea Von Kampen + Support 14th August | The Folklore Rooms £14adv | 18+ Andrea von Kampen is a Nebraska-based singer-songwriter whose music blends intimate storytelling, poetic lyricism, and warm acoustic arrangements. Rooted in the landscapes of the Great Plains, her songs explore connection-to the natural world, to one another, and to the quiet moments that shape us. With over 60 million Spotify streams, releases on Fantasy Records, and appearances at some of the most respected folk and Americana festivals, von Kampen has built a devoted global following. Their success at home also saw some of the most culturally impactful brands approach the band for collaborations, working with the likes of Gucci, Dior, Vans and Dr. Martens to name a few. Folklore Sessions Presents; Axel Flovent + Support 15th October | The Folklore Rooms £15adv | 18+ Axel Flóvent is an Icelandic indie-folk artist whose soft, introspective songs blend Nordic melancholy with a warm, hopeful atmosphere. Growing up in a musical family in Húsavík, he began releasing raw, early demos that led to his breakout single, "Forest Fires," which is now streamed over 90 million times. His music draws from influences such as Bon Iver and Adrianne Lenker, blending gentle folk, ambient textures, and emotional honesty. After years of living in Reykjavík, Axel has returned to his hometown, where he continues to craft reflective, heartfelt songs - including new releases like singles "Nowhere" (December 19th 2025), "In The Grass" (January 30th 2026) and his upcoming EP, Fleeing the Shore set for April 24th 2026. Von Hertzen Brothers (Acoustic Enough) | Finnish progressive rock visionaries Von Hertzen Brothers, return to the UK in October 2026 for a very special run of intimate seated theatre shows. Celebrating 25 years as a band, the Finnish band will present a unique live experience unlike anything they have previously brought to UK audiences. The band wryly describe these performances as acoustic “enough” - while the songs may be reimagined away from their usual electric rock set-up, these shows are anything but stripped back. Far from a simple “unplugged” set, these shows interpret the band’s music in a way that is intimate, expansive and more immersive than ever before.
